Take Your Power Back (TYPB) – Rebuild. Restore. Renew.

 

Every day, women and single mothers flee abusive homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs—leaving behind their belongings, stability, and often, their sense of self.

In the year ending March 2024, 4.8% of people aged 16 and over in the UK experienced domestic abuse, with 1,612,000 being females. This is does not include the women who are too afraid to report the abuse due to fear and lack of stability.

Many have lost everything—their mental health, confidence, homes, jobs, financial security, and support systems.

At Take Your Power Back (TYPB), our mission is to Rebuild, Restore, and Renew the lives of women affected by domestic abuse. We are committed to transforming victims into victors - Breaking the silence.

 

As a Christian faith-based charity, we believe in the power of God’s restoration and His ability to turn pain into purpose. Through advocacy, awareness, empowerment, revival and upliftment, we help survivors reclaim their confidence, independence, and future.

Take Your Power Back (TYPB) is on a mission to Rebuild, Restore, and Renew the lives of women,  single mothers and their children who have survived domestic abuse. These women have endured so much, and with your support, we can help them regain their confidence, independence, and stability.

Our goal is to support women as they rebuild their lives by providing:

🌸 Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing – Access to counselling, self-care programs, and confidence-building workshops.

🌺 Employment & Career Support – Connecting survivors with job opportunities, career coaching, and skill development.
